Through the fellowship of some elders of the Upper North Island churches in New Zealand, there was a feeling to facilitate an opportunity for saints to be gathered together regionally to enjoy the videos of the International Memorial Day Webcast Conference.
Typically, saints who are not able to attend the live Memorial Day Conference in America can participate in this conference personally by accessing the recordings online, or corporately coming together as a church locally (subject to the church facilitating this locally for the saints).
As an alternative to the local corporate gathering, we would like to facilitate a regional gathering in the upper North Island. This gathering will take place in the long weekend of 2-5 June 2023 (King’s Birthday Weekend).
The upper North Island regional gathering will be held in Hamilton and will be hosted by the New Zealand Training Centre and the church in Hamilton.
This gathering will consist of watching the videos from the International Memorial Day Conference that will take place in Chicago, USA on the weekend prior (26-29 May) as well as enjoying one another’s blending, fellowship and hospitality that comes with attending a conference in person. As these gatherings will consist of watching the videos of this conference which will be given in English, there will be no translation available.

Hospitality can be provided by the New Zealand Training Centre and the church in Hamilton. This can be requested on the registration form.
To avoid the spread of Covid-19, saints who have cold or flu symptoms should not travel to Hamilton. Saints who develop such symptoms during the weekend will need to refrain from attending any further physical aspect of the conference. They also may need to depart from their hospitality.
There will not be any children’s service during any of the conference sessions, except the Lord’s Day morning session (session 4).
The upper North Island gathering can only be attended physically and no zoom option will be available.
As this gathering will consist of watching the videos of the conference, they will be conducted in the English language only. No translation will be provided.
To help facilitate the smooth running of this conference, registration will be required. Registrations will close on Monday 29 May. This gives us time to prepare for the conference, print outlines, arrange hospitality, etc.
