National Highschoolers’ Camp

We are pleased to announce that registrations for the 2024 National Highschoolers’ Camp are now open and we warmly invite the high school-aged students from your locality to register.

This camp will be held at Lakeland Park Christian Camp, Queenstown.

Camp Dates

The camp will officially begin with 6:00 p.m. dinner on Saturday 28 September (registration and arrival from 2:00 p.m.) and will conclude after breakfast on Tuesday 1 October (we need to vacate the campsite by 10:00am).

Important note: In NZTC’s year planner, the camp was scheduled to finish on Wednesday 2 October (a day later then mentioned above). If based on this information, you have already booked flights out of Queenstown for Wednesday 2 October, and you require accommodation overnight Tuesday 1 October, please read the section on “Mini-Blending Trip’.

As an optional extra, it is possible to arrive at the campsite a day earlier on Friday 27 September. If you wish to take advantage of this option, there will be an extra fee for the overnight stay on Friday night (see camp prices). If you choose this option, we will provide Friday night dinner, Saturday morning breakfast and Saturday lunch.

Camp Prices and Attendance Options

The price structure of the camp will be as follows:

  • Staying onsite – $145 per person. This includes all meals and accommodation. We encourage all highschoolers and serving ones to choose this option. This price has been subsidised from the Conference and Trainings pledge that was announced at this year’s National Conference.
  • Extra accommodation – $50 per person. This is for the optional stay on the Friday night if desiring to arrive at the camp a day earlier. Meals will be provided for this overnight stay.
  • Staying offsite – $90 per person. This includes all meals and day visit fees to the camp (the campsite charges us a day visit fee). Parents traveling to Queenstown may like to choose this option. You will need to arrange your own accommodation and travel to and from the campsite each day.

We do welcome families and saints of all ages to participate in this camp. Although the campsite has the facilities to accommodate families, on-site accommodation will be prioritized first to highschoolers and serving ones.

Mini Blending Trip

At the conclusion of the camp, there will be a mini blending trip to Invercargill to visit and blend with the saints there before returning to Queenstown for afternoon flight departures on Wednesday 2 October. The cost of this trip is $50 per person. For those who are able to, the trip will continue on to Dunedin.

The itinerary will be as follows:
