Summer School of Truth

.

We are anticipating another precious and encouraging time with our highschoolers at this year’s Summer School of Truth. The purpose of this letter is to provide you with important information about this time, and the registration process.

Dates and Location

This year’s Summer School will commence with registration from 5 p.m. on Friday 26 December 2025 followed by dinner at 6 p.m.

We will conclude after lunch and clean up on Friday 2 January 2026, 1:30 p.m.

The Summer School will be held at: Christian Youth Camps (CYC) Ngaruawahia, Camp 1, 148 Waingaro Road, Ngaruawahia.

Application & Registration Information

All saints wishing to attend the Summer School of Truth will go through an application process. This will involve filling out an online form by Thursday 27 November 2025.

The purpose of the application process is:

  1. To ensure all highschoolers and serving ones gain the maximum benefit from the camp.
  2. To ensure we have a 4:1 ratio of highschoolers to serving ones. This will help with the atmosphere and provide the necessary shepherding for the highschoolers from your locality.

After this deadline, a list of applications will be sent to the serving ones in your locality for their consideration and approval. Successful applicants will be notified about the outcome of their application by Thursday 4 December 2025.

The serving ones in your locality will consider the following points when approving an applicant for Summer School:

  • Highschoolers who apply for Summer School should have attended high school this year, have a positive attitude, and be willing to participate in every aspect of the Summer School. They should also be able to accept and abide by the camp expectations provided in this letter.
  • Serving ones who apply should have a desire and burden to serve. They are expected to stay onsite and serve for the duration of the Summer School.

Once approved, the applicant will receive an email informing them how to make payment for Summer School. Payment will complete their registration.

Camp Expectations

In order to maintain a high standard that will be conducive to pursuing the Lord, we ask that all highschoolers attending the Summer School of Truth are made familiar with the general guidelines and expectations as mentioned below. Highschoolers will need to accept these guidelines and expectations when they apply.

  1. I agree to participate in all the meetings and activities of the camp.
  2. I understand that my mobile phone and any other devices will be held securely for me for the duration of the camp and made available either when I leave or after cleaning up on the last day. (Cameras and basic watches are permitted).

  4. I agree to go to bed at the appointed time and rise at the appointed time.
  5. I agree to sleep in my appointed accommodation and not to move rooms.
